United Port of San Diego for Cruises Website: https://www.portofsandiego.org/ The Port of San Diego welcomes over 190 cruise ships throughout the year at San Diego's B Street Cruise Ship Terminal. Seasonally, Holland America Line and Celebrity Cruises homeport in San Diego. Other lines that will visit San Diego during the upcoming year include Princess, Carnival, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, Regent Seven Seas, Crystal Cruises, Hapag-Lloyd Line, and The World of ResidenSea. The B Street Cruise Ship Terminal is conveniently located in the very heart of thriving, vibrant downtown San Diego and a short distance from countless attractions. Recently, San Diego has been found on cruise ship itineraries that include other fabulous destinations including, but not limited to, the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, and even distant locales such as Tahiti. Parking, long term and daily, is available at the lane field facility located on Broadway between Pacific Highway and North Harbor Drive. The rate is $12.00 a day and space is limited. Central Parking, operator of the parking lot may be contacted at (619) 235-5690. Long-term parking is also available at Park & Ride lots near the Terminal. They service both the Cruise Ship Terminal and the Airport. Rates vary from $9.00-17.00 per day and may include secured, covered parking. Shuttle service is available at no charge. Please consult the local phone book under “Parking Lots & Garages” to contact operators. Parking Locations | Directions Arriving by Hired Transportation or Friends. Passengers arriving by bus, limo, taxi or someone else, you may be dropped off at the curb in front of doors 1, 2 or 3 with your luggage. Visitors are currently not allowed inside the terminal due to heightened security imposed by the Coast Guard. Your driver, friends & family may park their car across this street at the meters or in the pay lot and you may visit outside the entrance to the terminal. See directions below. Arriving by Personal Vehicle. Passengers arriving by personal vehicle may NOT park on the pier while on your cruise. Short & Long Term parking is available at the following locations: Note: One of the services available for cruise customers are pedicab rides to the ship. These are independent operators not associated with the Port or the parking facilities operators. Please negotiate a price with them before accepting a ride.
Driving South on Interstate 5: Take I-5 into downtown San Diego. Exit Sassafras (airport exit). Proceed straight on exit road, which turns into India, until Laurel. Turn right on Laurel and proceed west until Harbor Drive. Make a left on Harbor Drive. From that point, the cruise ship terminal is approximately ¼ of a mile on the right. Driving North on Interstate 5: Take I-5 into downtown San Diego. Exit Hawthorn (airport exit). Hawthorn steers west toward the San Diego Bay waterfront and Harbor Drive. At Harbor Drive, make a left. From that point, the cruise ship terminal is approximately ¼ of a mile on the right. Wayfinding MapDirections to the Terminal Southbound on I-5. Take FRONT STREET EXIT, stay in the RIGHT LANE for 2 lights, turn RIGHT at ASH STREET and follow until it dead ends at HARBOR DRIVE, turn LEFT at HARBOR DRIVE, the PIER is on your RIGHT. Northbound on I-5. Take the 6th STREET EXIT, turn LEFT onto 6th, go approx 4 blocks and turn RIGHT at ASH STREET, follow until it dead ends at HARBOR DRIVE, turn LEFT at HARBOR DRIVE, the PIER is on your RIGHT.
