Available upon guest request we offer oversized cabana-striped towels for your use at the beach or poolside as well as pails & shovels for beachcombing and shelling. Cribs are available and may be added to any guest room free of charge. A rollaway bed may be added to most guest rooms for a nominal fee.

Getting Around Coronado island: The drive from the San Diego International Airport at Lindbergh Field is less than 10 miles and takes 15 to 20 minutes; a cab ride will cost approximately $30. Once here, you might consider renting a bike or surrey to better explore the neighborhoods, and bikes are permitted on the pedestrian ferry that takes you over to San Diego's waterfront.

Beaches : The two-mile main beach has four sections. At the foot of the Coronado Shores condominium towers is South Beach where the hull of the sunken gambling ship, the Monte Carlo , can be seen at low tide. The section starting at the Hotel Del Coronado to the life guard tower is Central Beach overlooked by the mansions along Ocean Boulevard . North Beach attracts surfers in the morning and fire rings are available for bonfires. At the far north is Dog Beach where canines can play leash-free. Lifeguards are on duty; volleyball nets, restrooms and showers are available
